ART WALK AT THE GOOD WORK COLLECTIVE 2011
The Good Work Collective is proud to partner with the Traverse City Wine & Art Festival to present an evening of community art, live music and craft food and beverages this Friday, April 29! This event is part of the annual Downtown Traverse City Art Walk, a self-guided tour of Traverse City’s downtown galleries.
The Traverse City Wine & Art Festival will be pouring wines from Leelanau & Old Mission wineries to celebrate the event. Appetizers from The Cooks’ House and craft-brewed IPAs from North Peak and regional breweries will be served. Attendees will enjoy live classical Indian raga music featuring sitar and tabla, as well as a remarkable 12-string jazz and world guitarist from Detroit. Art will be displayed and for sale from a number of regional artists (see list below). Donations will be accepted at the door, with proceeds benefiting The Good Work Collective. Art Walk hours are from 5-9 p.m., with The Good Work Collective hosting a downtown afterglow from 9 p.m.-midnight. Don’t miss this exciting celebration of Traverse City’s diverse artistic and culinary culture!
